Polluting the Oceans (Fukushima)

Would we dump trash in the forest? No! So why into the sea? Because we can't see into the sea?!
People are still going to need the oceans in a 1,000 years' time. If this problem isn't treated as an emergency, we could be sowing the seeds of the end of humanity in the not-so-distant future.
